Greetings, Seekers of Truth,
Venturing onto the path of gnosis is akin to embarking on a profound journey of self-discovery and self-expression. We, at The True Testament Church, are committed to illuminating this path, guiding you through the labyrinth of your own divine potential. For as the Gospel of Thomas teaches us, "Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death."
In essence, gnosis isn't simply about acquiring knowledge—it's an intimate encounter with one's own divine essence. It's a path of illumination and revelation, a process that unveils the divine spark within each of us. Like looking into a mirror, when we truly see ourselves, as the Gospel of Philip counsels, "You see yourself in it. When you come out from it, that which you see is saved. It is with you."
At The True Testament Church, we believe that the pursuit of gnosis transcends dogma and ritual. It is an ever-evolving, dynamic exploration of the self, the universe, and the symbiotic relationship that binds us all together. The Gospel of Thomas succinctly captures this sentiment when Jesus said, "If those who lead you say to you, 'See, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the Kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you."
Therefore, to embark on this journey of gnosis is to be in tune with the rhythm of the universe. It is to live harmoniously within and without, understanding that "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside…then you will enter [the Kingdom]," as stated in the Gospel of Thomas.
The Gospel of Mary reminds us that "There is no such thing as sin, but it is you who make sin when you do the things that are like the nature of adultery, which is called sin." The True Testament Church encourages self-expression, inviting individuals to free themselves from the chains of judgment and guilt, and explore their true potential.
Through the teachings of Gnostic texts, we aim to foster a supportive environment that nurtures spiritual growth and encourages self-discovery. We believe that "The truth is within ourselves," and with this truth, we will be set free. As the Gospel of Truth declares, "Those who have discovered themselves, have found out what was in their eyes since they are blind. For this reason, they need to become seekers for what they really are."
We warmly invite you to journey with us. Let us step into the light of gnosis together, and discover the boundless potential of the divine spark within each one of us. Welcome to the sacred path of self-discovery and self-expression. Welcome to The True Testament Church.
